Hey,I'm going cold turkey ere.I cannot connect to q2 jump server,but can join others.Even in eye it appears as 9999 ping.

Whats the problem,I did a tracert and seems to be a problem near the server,anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

That's strange. I don't see any bans that should affect your IP.

Are you able to connect to tourney4 ? east.tastyspleen.net:27930

I'm having same problem as Kingsize. Dunno how to do a traceroute or whatever but I can't connect to Jump or Tourney4. I connected to Mutant and did a "goto" and saw that there were people on the Jump server and on the Tourney4 server but I couldn't connect.

Any ideas?

Interesting - now it works.

May be a problem with AOL. I'll let you know if it fails to update again.

I can't connect to tourney4 or jump right now myself.

Not sure what's up. The traceroute looks fine. And I can still shell into east.tastyspleen.net and do rcon comands by way of proxying through tastyspleen.net. Apparently some sort of router/firewall problem going on with east.tastyspleen.net.

I'll attempt to contact the owner of that server...

It should be fixed now. Thanks to digency for noticing the IP had somehow changed slightly. I had brought over new config files last night and lost one important line in the process. My bad.

Ok,Since I know it's not a problem on my side (As I was gonna get my cable to re-route my routers so I could get in)Can you like tell the server people to like fix their firewall problem?Is it 2 weeks now and I did another tracert and nothing as changed.Or is there a way I can use a proxy to get in

All I play is Jump and Vanilla servers,No worried about tourney4,only go there sometimes.Or give them my ip incase maybe they blocked me by accident?

I haven't heard from the server owner yet. He may be on vacation or something.

how do you look up ip addresses your like currently connected to ?

If you mean what I did then just goto start/programs/accessories/command prompt.Or win 98 its dos or sommit and xp its whatever.And to tracert a server or ip just type in tracert tastyspleen.net for example and it will show you all the hops you pass threw to get to the server.Or you can type in ping tastyspleen.net for example and that just pings.
