I play on this server quite a bit. The skin I use is Dr Freakenstein or commonly known as Dr Freak. I do not know it the server carries this skin or not but it would be nice if it would. Here is a link to polycount so it can be given a look and a review. It is the funniest skin I have ever seen.

I would also like to see a skins folder on the download page. The maps are great but it would be nice to see a skin download as well.

It's actually a model, not a skin

amazingly enough, the fileplanet public servers had no wait-time on a Saturday afternoon!

Yes, a model not a skin. Thanks for the correction. I laugh when he jumps off a higher spot to a lower spot and still manages to stay in the chair.

I also assume that since you went to download it that it is not on the server at this time.

I havent checked out the Polycount site in a good while, so I have been a lil out of date of the new models and skins. I do have to say however that that is one sweet model. I haven't downloaded it yet, but the pictures sure seem to do it justice. I'll have to check out what else they got up there now...

that's just a gamespy bug.
if it says file not found click back on your browser and then click the link one more time.

Dr Freak is a good skin. I am glad some of you folks are trying to get it.

Models & Skins don't have to be on the servers for them to be used....That just allows those who don't have the Model/Skin to be able to dl it off the server like a custom map and then they will be able to see it....if they have the allow download model/skin option turned on that is....if not...it won't dl to those ppl and they doom themselves to a endless existance of fragging grunts and athena's for the rest of their lives.....hehe

O...and if the skin is on the server....but nobody on the server is currently using it.....it still won't dl....So if you want to see and use custom skins....which I love to do....the best thing to do is just dl em from places like these...

I use the Dr Freaks skin and if it was on the server, then those that have download skin on, would be able to have it as well. I have seen someone else use this skin once in the last six months. It is a funny skin and adds to the game. to see Dr Freak take a fast turn and the wheelchair go on one wheel is a trip. A flying wheelchair jumping a ledge is a sight to see too. I like new maps and i like new skins. It is all the little things that add to the game and make it more enjoyable. That is why Q2 is still popular after all these years.

Darn planetquake...create an account..Ive tried to log into that suker like 5 million times and it never works...I hate that site!!! grrr just let me download..fuck logging in!

Here is another site that has the Dr Freak Skin in the skins download section. No log in. no muss no fuss. There are many skins to choose from.
