FFA Tourney Idea

Say 41 players join.  Rounds could be 1/2 hour, with the refs taking 10 minutes between rounds to decide who moves on, and PMing passwords over TS forums.

Only thing I don't like about this is that the "bottom" players get knocked out early.

I like the idea of a 2 player FFA near the end. 

That sounds like a fun concept though. I'm still waiting for a concept that would be during weekdays. Although I wouldn't much of a factor in any games it would still be fun to participate.

When the Tasty 500 was first mentioned, I wanted to have a "tiered" FFA tourney.  I think I'd do pretty good in one of those, and would be fun I think.  Not to mention you'd have some of the best FFA'ers going at it on one map, which doesn't happen much.

Less predictable and seem to offer more variety than a single-map TS500.

this seems to be more of an elimination type game.  we did vote on that in the ts500 voting for the first and second one, but they did not pass, the majority wanted the full 500 on one map.

I don't think there's anything keeping us from having multiple FFA tourney's =)  TS500 can go on, and those who want to participate in an elimination/tiered version similar to the one suggested in this thread, can.  And as long as there's a decent turn-out, it should be great fun.
