Server Status

Does anybody know what gives with servers.  I can't seem to see them any more.  sure miss the tastyspleen!

may be my connection not sure.  I seem to be able to connect elsewheres.

What happens if you run quake2, and type the following in your console:
connect tastyspleen.net:27912

Where is it that you're no longer "seeing" the servers?

I always use the q2.kicks-ass.net addy and it works fine

try to connect from add book like always.  all I get is "connecting to 67.19.248.74:279xx"

also tried typing in at console, just gives me same thing.

I can ping, tracert ect ect so i'm prestty sure our security stuff isn't in the way.

even tried entering directly in CFG.

probably need to bite bullet and build a linux box since i have time now.  (not playing)

How strange...  Well, our logfile shows you last connected successfully 7 days ago from 204.56.xxx.xxx.
I've checked to make sure that IP address didn't inadvertently end up in any of our ban lists.  It doesn't seem to be.

Perhaps your IP address has changed?  All I can see is the IP you last successfully connected from.

If you want to privately email me your current IP address, I can make sure it's not somehow in any of the banlists either.

Other than that, I'm stumped... But there are still further troubleshooting steps we could take.  I could run a packet tracer on tastyspleen to verify that packets are even being received from your computer when you try to connect.  (I'd need to know your current IP address.)  There are a few other things we could try.  It would be nice to get to the bottom of it; it makes me wonder how many other players might be incorrectly locked out.
