I recorded two demos of them playing, in Cboys pov. The second demo shows him propably cheating (walling). But I'm not 100% sure what do you guys think?

Fake, for sure. He seemed to disable his bot after the first 2 frags, see this screenshot of his first frag (from first demo). High ping or not, I ping ~140 myself but I've never ever been able to get the railtrail that much out of sync with my crosshair, no matter how hard I yanked the mouse. The rest of the demo shows a lot of questionable wh-like shots especially towards the end of the match. It's getting harder and harder to spot a cheat when it's used by experienced players and it sure is not impossible to play like that with a daelmun-ping

...but in this case I believe you guys were right, at least about cboy.

(btw, that's a pretty version of dm1 with that clean lighting:)

What I can't figure out is how Panjoo took that type of screenshot, and what its supposed to mean. And yeah,Pan, that rendition of Edge is nice. Very pleasant, even lighting. When I viewed the demo I thought my graphics card was just having a good day. But you saw it too.

.nu is Sweden?

I read in an interview on the nidml site that the swedes are supposed to be one of the best teams in the world. Wouldn't someone else have called them on it by now?

Also, there was so much lag in the middle demo I watched, I had to stop it.

Just a matter of timing and hitting F12 during the demo. It means something looks fishy if you ask me.

Ok but what do you think then? I only looked at the posted demos, not the .nu reputation. Since I don't see any other good explanation for such an off-crosshair shot (nothing to do with lag or ping) and the many spot-on prediction shots I think that cboy cheated. I dont know about the other members.

I could spot the old zbots back in the day. You remember, the ones were they guy would be running up the stairs and suddenly seem to rail out his ass.... Other than those, I can never tell.

Is it possible that trail is the residual from when the gun fired, and the crosshair subsequently moved? I mean a rail flick is pretty fast.

I think that is possible yes. But in this case he turned from left to right so in theory one would expect the crosshair to stop all the way on the right side. I know when slowed down it can look bad, but normally when turning the mouse that fast you'll see the crosshair also pass by the target after the shot. In the demo you'll see it almost immediately stops very close to the target.
(To test this, record a demo while turning and shooting the rail simultaneously. Play the demo in slowmotion and you'll see quite a gap between your crosshair and the trail. But try to do it while running and shooting around a corner and you'll see it's very hard to keep the crosshair from passing by the trail.) But yeah, nowadays it's hard to tell without knowing the exact moment of firing.

NOT downplaying these guys' skill... but, it is kind of funny when i bet NONE OF THEM PRETTY MUCH EVER play on that ping, yet they rail that good on it... Also kind of funny that cboy's rail sucks out in the open??? I dont get how in rails 3v3 his corner shots own like hell but my rail owns his out in the open??? Not even going to comment on any suspicions that i see visually.. because who knows.. these guys could REALLY be that good if they are like g9 says.. BUT the things i said are kinda weird/suspcious..

If you guys think we are cheaters plz feel welcome to discuss it with us.
I dont like this at all, this is not like you are accusing some faker on the server for cheating, you are accusing the Swedish National insta team and that really sucks taht you even THINK that we are cheating. We all have been playing Q2 for like 5-7 years and there is nothing we hate as much as cheaters.
Ill give you some irc channels if you got any questions or if you want to se some demos from where we play with ping 15-50, maybe youll think again about that cheating accuse.
