it's a Kensington 5 button Optical Pro.

I used a standard ms optical scroll for a long time. I bought a logi MX518 which I liked at first and then got frustrated with all the sensitivity options. I then bought a microsoft laser mouse 6000. Its much lighter than the mx518, has fewer sensitivities to adjust, and feels like a ms mouse.

The logitech mice just don't feel right to me.

Every Logitech mouse i've bought (MX-518, 510 bout six altogether) didnt last more than 2 months. The fire button just wore out. I'm using the Razor Diamondback with all my pc's now at home and work. I love them!!

logitech mx518, it some times stutters and lags tho. (IE: tries to go other directions and i fight with it)
wireless = bad, evil, satan etc

Thanks for sharing! I was hoping someone had a positive experience with wireless but it don't look like it.

Logitech MX 518, gotta admit it took some tweaking and mental
adjustments on my part to get used to it. So far so good. I've destroyed the
right mouse button on 3 MS opticals at an average of 3-4 months EA. The
518 is at 6 months and still functional, "woot"......My fondness for railz is tough
on mice!

yup naymlis thats what i used, had to run it in xp compatibility mode tho and then it patched server 2k3 fine

i can run at 1000Hz and get about 850Hz

people have said to use 500hz unless your mouse can get 1000 consistently.. i guess its whatever you like tho

Funny you should ask.....I just came home with a new one today. I've tried it and I like it a lot. Very smooth and accurate. No wobbly off-tracking when you do a snap turnaround.
