Titties- the last person i would have ever expected to call me a bot. The following demos are of me vs him, 1v1 rails on edge... it was a no contest... not even that great of a challenge. the guy was absoluitely predictable. he loved to circle the lower open court and i knew exactly where he was at all times- and this is from me, a player just learning how to incorporate some strategy into his game. what a freaking joke.

... tell me what you think guys... i have a lot riding on my rep and the last thing i would ever do is cheat. many would vouch for me and my style...

About titties , people have bad days and at times say things not true or maybee he is right who knows

HOORYAY he's trying to learn some tactics , even though I dont see much need of them in insta rails (point -n- shoot) .

lol... i would say its a lil more challenging than point and shoot in 1v1 or team rails...(i.e. listening to spawns, etc)

a lot of ppl love to bash it... but its fun and challenging. u should give it a shot...

as for titties, no comment... the guys a joke. the demo speaks for itself...

That's too funny...and I think Spawn was being very,very generous with his evaluation of 1v1 rail mod. So boring to play someone who just crouches, fires, then moves(walks) to another location for a back or surprise shot. One shot-one frag mods are

I used to think railz was really boring too, until I got into playing it in teams, and while there's no real strategy to it (unlike tdm) it's just kind of relaxing to play a few games everyday, well for me it is anyways. railz games 1v1 I think are fairly boring I think tho because it's just one guy hiding waiting for the other to pop out, similar to ra2 1v1 except without the cool rocket jumps and nice arenas

2v2/3v3/4v4 rails are fun though, especially when you get on a hot streak

well considering im the leader of clan .dC and the fact that i run the tastyrailgun.com site and its rail server... i wouldnt want to risk being called a cheat... dont you think? other than that, i have nothing else...

sure thats possible, but u have to be incredibly lame to play like that all the time. its a more fluid game than ppl give it credit for. and theres also a lot more skill to it than ppl give it credit

I dont understand why ppl would bash team rails (without hook and not ffa railz) without really playing it for a period of time... many tdm players have come to our server... have enjoyed it and have repeatedly returned...some have even joined the few number of clans that do exit... and i do believe theres a reason for it: first and foremost, its fun; second, it encompasses some of the strategy that dm players have come to rely on. its not just point and shoot; u need to think a bit out there. third, its a great community.

and gyn, fair enough with your evaluation of the railz mod. come by our server more often at q2.tastyrailgun.com and play some of the better players there that come by... perhaps we can change your mind... and even get you hooked

No one bashed the Mod or the players in this thread . Just pointed out when you speak of skills there is alot less you need to do in insta rails compared to dm .

Bah god if I posted a demo of everyone that called me a hax the forums would buh full , and the funny thing is I sux

And I agree with ya sean , It is relaxing , I used to insta rails before tdm matches to calm me and get my flicks down .

spawn, didnt say that u specifically bashed it... im just saying there seems to be a general trend towards it...

and i agree it takes a lot less skill to become proficient at rails than dm..

however, there is a skillset to be learned... just like any other mod.

like i said b4, you should give it a shot at our servers... were trying to bring more and more ppl to our dying community

yeah there is a general rail bashing theme amongst tdm players, they feel (for the most part) the same about other mods like lithium, wod, etc- but thats pretty much the same anywhere you go, such as most rails players wont openly bash tdm but they won't have anything nice to say about it either

to me competition is competition, I've liked ctf, ra2, tdm and railz team games, I mean nothing really compares to a 4v4 deathmatch game on tokays towers or colour to me but in between those times id like to do something else besides edge pickups over and over or vanilla ffa where I just get called a bot every 5 mins, rails is the only other place where ppl are competing in teams right now other than tdm, so I'm giving it a try

maybe some of the others here will too so we could get an american 4v4 rails league going and have some real fun with it

also, all of the people I've met playing rails at tastyrailgun are incredibly nice people, which is more than I can say for my own community, there's a certain comfort I take in not having to argue about something stupid or listen to cheat accusations/bitching/whining before or even during a game
