I never had any intentions on clicking on the link, I would just hope that promoting of cheating would be banned. Thats one of the reasons I had not played in a while, got tired of all the cheating and bitching.

We try to be pretty vigilant on the servers themselves. We have a group of volunteer admins who monitor the servers and spectate players, looking for aimbots and wallhacks.

Generally what we do when someone is cheating is record a demo, and ban them. Occasionally, players like this FR4GG3R88 are profoundly clueless, and we'll give them a temporary ban and then a second chance. FR4GG3R blew his 2nd chance and was banned permanently.

Shit winners never cheat ... and cheats hopefully will never win with out getting caught!! ...but what are some key signs to someone bottin' i've never used one or not sure if i've ever seen one ... i know counterstrike is full of hacks.. but are they basically the same... and how does a wall hack really help its not like counterstrike where you can actually shoot threw the walls

I Know now ... or i so been told that steam has cracked down on the hacks. you supposdly can be black listed from hundreds of servers if caught

Steam currently only operates on the latest Valve games, such as Half-Life 2

I dont play counterstrike at all, but i should play the games ur friend plays and get used to them ! maybe we can startup an hl/counterstrike division for sx

i can play counterstrike, half life 1, counterstrike source, day of defeat, and etc .... just none of them compair to q2

Maybe HL1 uses Steam now - but it never did a little while ago. Steam is kinda new.
