Q2 binds

seeking help on quake 2 teamdeathmatch binds. i want to get skilled and be a good contender. PLease im seeking help for binds as in: my location.. dropping ammo AND weapons things like that.. i hit my drop inv keyt and i only drop the weapon i see others dropping wep and ammmo for wep PLease help me

use a client that has a location command like $loc_here (r1q2) so you can just bind 1 key for your loc .. bind space "say_team $loc_here"

and to drop weaps+ammo just bind a key like: bind kp_end "drop rocket launcher; drop rockets; say_team DROPPED ROCKET LAUNCHER"

i have a config that I press my use rocket launcher bind while holding down mouse3 to drop rocket launcher.. then press it again without letting go of mouse3 to drop more rox each time i press it.. when i let go of mouse3 itll change it back to use rocket launcher. if you're not good at editting cfgs, you can tell me what keys you use for each weapon and i can edit the script for you and send it

i redid my teambinds for an hour or two, then my hard drive crashed.
then played on some shit laptop for a while, now i'm back setting up teambinds
naymlis - this how that bind works?  i'm at work and I can't test it, but i think it's like that, never thought of that

the only thing I see wrong with yours is you put 2 "bind q"s in your "weapon" alias, remove those and it should work, but if you want multiple drop binds instead of just 1 for rocket launcher / rockets you'll probably need to use what i have.. but im not the best script writer there could be a better way.. but this works

I also changed it so it doesn't drop the ammo with the weapon.. it only drops the weapon first and then ammos for each time you press it again without releasing mouse3 (like i explained in a previous post)

This is my tdm config , My drops are bound to p i think wich then I set my mouse4 to key stroke p , wich could easily be rebound to mouse 3 then your weapon keys .
