SikoKiller - bot?

SikoKiller.
A few days ago I noticed while playing, someone do a quick twist and fire a rocket out of his ass. -- "maGix almost dodged SikoKiller's rocket."
Today, I came on and went to spectator mode while I was eating. I came and went from my bedroom a few times and I finally sat back down with some food.
SikoKiller just happened to be the first guy to come up when I hit my jump key (to cycle thru the players), and the same for the maps to follow. (I guess he got into the maps pretty quick, dunno.)
Anyways, I watched this guy play for a little while before recording a few demos.
I *think* this guy might have a bot of some sort, one that he can toggle on/off.
Throughout this demo, you'll see moments of this guy trying to hit somebody but he just doesn't. Then, all of the sudden, his aim gets crazy/fast -like, then he's popping a few rails, all with ease - like he wasn't trying.. it seemed skill-less.
There are times when he spawns and with someone directly across from him (as in the first map in this demo), he fires a few quick blasts and then scurries off.
In the second map, you see him rail a guy, and then as he's going up the stairs, he unexplicably rails just above the guy's now corpse - and no one's there.
Maybe he's just good... what do you guys think?

Crap. It appears the second map wasn't recorded. Don't have much evidence now.
Here's the first demo I recorded. Maybe that'll help.
Also, you may need R1Q2 to view these demos.

if you mean by cheating he's using an aimbot, it looks legit to me, I've seen demos of people chaining with frk and the cg locks onto its target and follows like a computer would, which this guys wasn't, and the old school ratbot aimbot would shoot outside of the crosshairs (unless he had the fov down) which then I guess it could be possible, but if that's the case then it wasn't doing him much good
I dunno tho man, I'm not exactly the authority on aimbots but he looks clean

Also, my best evidence didn't get recorded. It was clipped off due to the map change - the good stuff was on the next map. Damn.

Hey thanks. That's a pretty slick program... unfortunately, the demos it spit out were just exactly what I already had.
sikobot2.dm2 produced one q2dm8.dm2 and sikobot.dm2 produced one q2dm6.dm2.
The good stuff was 2 - 3 maps later after q2dm8 in sikobot2.dm2, and R1CH has told me that r1q2 doesn't keep recording after map change (more or less anyways).
Maybe I should tell him about splitdem?
If I'd known I had to stop/record each map ... sheesh. That's a nice feature tho..to keep recording.
Oh well. Just keep an eye on Siko wouldja guys? I say he's fishy.

i think i notice a botter recently.
this dude was owning this xatix server with what seems like "non miss" railshots
plastik was saying how the dude was using "aim assistance".
im not sure if plastik was just whining or not, but if i really think hes cheating next time, ill get a demo.

lol, it was a bit of both
It's just funny that when I point out to people that I think they are cheating, and tell them I'm watching them, they either leave the next game, OR they don't play so well anymore. It feels like most bot users have a nice little toggle switch. After I told dude this, and was spectating him, he wasn't hitting anything, missing left and right. I have a list of people I believe cheat, and when I see that they are on, I quietly join the server and spectate them for a few games. These days, you will need more than a couple of demos to have some sort of proof. Also, bots can be set to work with only CERTAIN weapons. this is a prominent feature in frkq2. so you may see them doing shitty with other weapons, and near-perfect with others. Also, what makes it really hard to detect is if the bot's fov is set extremely low, like 1-5. This helps with aim assistance while moving, all you gotta do is click it as soon as ur crosshair passes over someone, and everyone knows there is prediction/ lag. that removes the margin of error in prediction and lag, since even though your still moving, no matter how slowly, it will lock on of course. This kind of stuff makes bot detection VERY difficult. I don't know if anyone is following me, maybe I haven't explained it as well as I should have. I've started up my own server and tested these theories of how not to get caught, so I can better understand how these hackers can appear legit. funny too, some people using bots miss on purpose, but it looks silly when you are getting 10 straight dead on kills with a rocket or rail, but miss by like 60 degrees or more all of a sudden when you point it out to them. It's all a cat and mouse game. There are alot of cheaters that need to be punished.

oh my.
This has to be the first time ever that a suspected cheater was fragged more than they scored... and didn't even win!
no offense, but I don't know how you could ever get such a crazy notion that he is cheating.
I'm sure Siko is hiding his head about now... this was FAR from his best game. He can unleash the beast when he wants to.(he didn't even unzip in these demos)
btw, OT, Engorged was in there... that cat is always cool... if you can look passed his name, he's one of the q2 players I respect the most. (not that my opinion means squat...)

Right. I'd say he's "above average" so to speak. He's won first a time or two that I know of.
It's just how he played it... stupid like, yet he was rackin' up the points. Maybe that's just how the guy plays, but it got me suspicious.
