Just in case anyone is intrested in duels, this is another pretty neat site with loads of demos on various maps with various players. It's from the invitational 2004, a european duel tourney where the top duellers in europe were invited to battle it out. Some pretty nice games there for sure, also nice for people who are a little bored with purri/damiah 1v1 demos

There's that one Provi vs Purri, where Provi pretty much cleans house with Purri.  I hear that wouldn't be the case nowadays though.  I wanna see a "recent" dm1 demo of Purri vs Damiah.  Have seen Damiah on the tourney servers a lot lately, pinging 125 or so, and he's amazing to watch.

it always seemed kind of weird to me, that people go provi is the best player on dm1.  sure he beat purri 2 out of 3 or something, but i don't think you can judge who is the better play on a 2 out of 3 game wtf

i have 20+ demos of provi vs purri, the scandanavian finals, and a shitload of matches between provi VS optimizer, odium, purri, damiah, dimmo, and others... From those is why I think that provi is better on dm1. It's not like they've only played 3 times or the 3x you're talking about (i'm not sure which) actually decided anything..

Has Provi played Combi on DM1?  And where do you go to download demos these days?  I still wanna see a recent Damiah/Purri, or Damiah/Provi 1v1 on DM1 demo.

http://q2scene.net/ds are where all the good demos are.. they usually dont post "for fun" games like us, only leagues and tourneys. and theres not a recent damiah/purri or anything like that :\

I don't really compare combi to purri/provi. But, when I have time I'll post a shit load of demos between provi, damiah, purri, odium, and optimizer.
