Long time Quake II player pepp has passed away on Feb 5th, 2025 after some health battles in the hospital.

He managed the Seattle FFA server which been around for many years. Come by Seattle FFA server Saturday night 2/8/25 to frag and chat in memory of our quake buddy, pepp.

Rest In Peace Pepp

Very sad to hear this news recently :(
Pepp was a really nice guy and great to chat with. He was passionate about Quake2 and the community. He will certainly be missed.
Thanks for the memories and good times. Rest in peace, brother.

I have not played in quite a while, but I check in here from time to time.

This is terrible news.  I have known Pepp for many years and he was always a great person to talk to and play against.

I first met him around the time I showed up to TS in 2007. Back then I had just joined clan EoM, and he would drop into our weekly FFA meets. Used to spend mornings back in maybe 2015-ish or before playing FFA with him, Travolta, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head at the moment (he had a regular crew he played with) on the Mutant server, occasionally one of the Xatrix mod servers, or the then recently forgotten Vanilla server which we all tried to promote and keep alive as long as we could. I beat him some, he beat me some, he was fun to play against. In more recent years, we antagonized each other arguing about politics and such, but I definitely still liked the guy and it was all in good fun. He was a cool dude, will miss him.

I have really good memories playing with pepp on his Seattle server. I enjoyed playing the unique maps. We used to talk a lot. He always had a good attitude. I am sad to hear the news. He will certainly be missed.

R.I.P. pepp5.

I was on DM this morning for the first time in a pretty long time. Seemed fine to me.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
