ffa servers

Is there anything that can be done, to get an active ffa server, there always was one at least(that had dm maps).
Does anyone else wonder what happened with ffa?

I know many players play on Vanilla, but many players don't like playing ffa there. 
The only active ffa server now seems to be the DS server for dm8.

Ideally I think it would be nice to have -
 1 ffa server rotating maps dm1-8, one locked at dm1, and one rotating custom maps , nice custom maps ;p
if there were these servers I think they would appearl to a lot of players, especially if they were tastyspleen servers part of the goto command
or are they already there : /

^ all the servers listed (and friends), current maps that are playing, and who is playing/how many frags they have.

GOTO DM - has all the DM1-8 maps
GOTO MUTANT - has all the custom DM maps

vanilla is the most popular ts ffa server, but sometimes you see people on these two ports as well.

Yeah, I've noticed that too, it sux.  The lack of a busy DM1-DM8 server.  Really, I think the only way to remedy this, is to ask some friends to frag there with you, and visit there consistantly.  If there's 2 or 3+ people on a DM1-8 server, more will join, and if this becomes a consistant place to find action, it will pick-up regulars.

Man i've been tryin to get the DM Server to pick up business for a while now.
It just happens to be my favorite. No wierd guns or maps, just good ole Death Match.
Mabey if it was listed on Game-a-holic like the other servers are.
Could we get a little help with this Mr. Console ?????

Hi... I'm not familiar with Game-a-holic... Some of our servers are listed there, and some aren't?

Could you tell me which ones do show up?  I'm not sure why only some would be.

So I would say someone submitted them.

I used to use game-o-holic some but I use The All-Seeing Eye (ASE) now to find servers...btw have all tastyspleen servers in my favorites.

 Punks right people are ganna go were other people play . Inviting friends to a particular server is a very good idea . someone is browsing for a q2 server to play on and see 5 or 6 players on a server their going to join that one before they would join a empty server . I find it odd that the DM server isnt hoping because I get complaints all the time about the Ds servers not rotating 1 - 8 . hehe W/e If someone complains to muh about maps rotating I'll direct em to the Dm server

I've actually submitted DM server on Game-A-Holic, but it has yet to show up. Humm, mabey I did something wrong ???

I always thought there was servers in gameaholic that don't show up in all seeing eye, or maybe it is just me.  don't the servers just connect somewhere to let everyone know there around or something.  not that it is gonna change anything, but it would be nice to have all the servers show up in all seeing eye, could be wrong though, maybe they alreayd do : )

Depends on how the server is set up , if the server isnt homing to the master server then they wont show in game search engines  .
