I think what he was getting at is that there was already a version of TLTF people have been playing on TS. Not sure if you were aware of this. Perhaps your versions differ from it in some way?

well yes, of course I am aware that there are other versions of this map for Q2.
I wanted an 1:1 conversion, using Q3's original mapfile.

there is only one (to my knowledge) who tried that before, and he failed to deliver good stuff - he had to leave his map fullbright (beside poor overall quality), because it exceedes the maximum of light patches arghrad can handle.

I am one of the first to use knightmare's briliant 64-bit arghrad which can handle this.
so it's a matter of taste which version of the map you use .... some might like the Q3 - style.
