Is there any reason why M pak is taking so long to upload? Are there any unforeseeable reasons why the pak hasnt been uploaded yet? Myself and a few others want to use it

Is the pak copyright? Did M make it from his own ideas? You could at the very least upload the 5 failed files in the pak or are they modified by M. For his own private use? It makes your position look very weak and you have something to hide otherwise

After several false accusations, editing a condump, and saying that it's a "known exploit" if NADL kicks you for something(this is the old server for my league, this is incorrect) the only weak position is yours. And, you're the one that tried to hide the truth in a fake condump.

I would be happy as always to get you to the same level configuration wise as everyone else. There is no need to think that everyone is cheating because of things like bright skins, which every quake uses today. I have personally made skin paks and scripts for everyone in the community. it is 100% acceptable to use these things, as it was intended by the original developers for people to be able to modify the game. are some sounds questionable? yes. are changing models cheating? yes. but changing skins is not. scripting is a language that was built into the game by the original developers. it is not cheating to utilize. please feel free to reach out to me so i can help you understand these things. just because some people are not willing to modify or seek out and change their clients does not mean it is cheating, especially when that was exactly the intention and how the game was designed.

i never said skins where cheating this guy fails 5 files. he actually just gave me his pak and i can see the reluctance to upload it because it DOES have some questionable traits to it.

the main issue with this pak is A BFG beep that can be easily heard around corners and i would imagine he has changed the rail hum to this beep as well which is setting of the modified rail gun hum failed file.

that beep is clearly heard and makes it easier to locate someone on the map.

 there is another sound i havent actually pin pointed what it is or how its triggered but it gets louder as a person approaches

So yeah I can see the delay in uploading it and shame on you shloo for saying there is nothing wrong with this pak because clearly i think there is. However if you think that beep is legit to use then i will upload it here for everyone to use

Again, just because the 5 files failed, doesn't mean they're cheats, it just means their hashes are not known to that particular server. There is no BFG beep. The 5 files are the footsteps (4) and the rail hum. You know this because it said it in the console when the checks failed. Apparently he gave you the pak already, so then you should also know they're not cheats.

Multiple admins have looked at this pak, there is nothing wrong with it. It's not our pak, so we're not going to be uploading it anywhere. Is it copyrighted? Does it contain M's own personal work? I don't know, I don't really care. We've all wasted enough time and energy on this pointless garbage.

Maybe you should focus on improving your own game instead of constantly accusing anyone who gets a frag on you as a cheat.

So as you can see those beep sounds are the hum sound files for the bfg and the railgun. they only start beeping when in hand and you can hear it when players are equiped in hand with it.

You guys are either ignorant or didnt look very hard into it. either way i would like an apology. Clearly the proof is there and M should be kicked with those files

You've proven that any "evidence" you post can't be trusted and is probably made up or faked to fit your needs.

Really the only place where sounds are typically "supposed" be stock or not modified in a way so as to make them louder or different in any way that could give the person an unfair advantage is the dueling community. In FFA, no one really cares all that much. For FFA and casual shit like that, Beeping BFG's and quad timers and such are still lame as hell, but not strictly "illegal".

Quadz, like most of us, thought that kinda thing was lame, but he never seemed to make any hard rules against it. I could be mistaken, but I don't recall him ever taking action against someone for it.

Thing is... in duels, there's almost never a BFG on a map anyway. I do certainly remember Dervish giving a shit about people using modded railgun hums on the iR servers, but those are basically considered independent from TS. Whatever rules Derv did or didn't have about the iR servers only applied THERE.

Multiple admins looked at the actual pak in question and deemed there to be nothing of concern.  I don't know what pak your looking at, and after you doctored the last batch of 'evidence' I don't intend to spend any time at all revisiting or cross referencing.  The pak M submitted was cleared by the admins. Do with that information what you will, I have no intentions on spending any more time on this.

Technically, even loud steps aren't strictly illegal in FFA around here, only in organized tourneys and duels. It's lame as fuck. You can call them lame as fuck for it... cuz they are. But it's not against the rules.
