Plastik you are blowing this out of proportion, he does not fucking ratbot or hack for christs sake, 1 he would have been caught by now, 2 - if he does ratbot, its a shit ratbot cos he sucks :p (jk), 3 - a ratbot does not work correctly on a high ping, 4 - he beat you with a 200 ping in rails, not by much but just accept it .. shit is this board a demos board or a "I can own you, and here's why" board?

its not if he uses it now, but more that he used it on legit players in what was supposed to be a legit game, and that is what angers me.

weve only played once plastik, you beat me by 6 in a 2nd game?? hahahha.. dude element was there for the whole thing, we only played ONE GAME and you disconnected.. you then immediately started talking shit on irc about it.. there was no '2nd match' lol... and thank you adam.

I am surprised more ppl aren't upset with this. Especialy after seeing how abused some players get after someone simply accuses them of hacking.

Here you have an admission of guilt. cheat enabled - public server - and this basically goes unnoticed.

too bad you will never get to "own" me as haunted... if you ever connect to any server I am on - I will yell "Admitted cheater on board!"

I'm sure a lot of ppl are upset about it but going another message board "I'm right and YOU're wrong" campaign doesn't serve anyone, well maybe it makes some ppl feel better but I think all of this non stop talk about whos cheating and why and how so and so caught them isn't doing anything for the this little community, some of us were talking about this very thing in #BTF earlier

I mean none of this is going to change quadz and fanny's policies on cheating, no ones going to get banned, so why bother ?

Haunted:
1) Of course people take cheating seriously. One should never cheat on a public server. The perception that cheating is rampant makes people not want to play (less players = less q2). Saying cheating doesn't matter because it isn't a TS server is like saying it doesn't matter if someone robs your neighbor. (Ok, robbery is much more severe.)
2) I don't know if it is your frustration at people's reaction, but I get the impression you are gloating for having cheated in that one game.
3) Of course you aren't cheating on TS. Let's move on.

I agree about the interaction on this thread...

I am not proud to be one of those who is flaming haunted here, but as a server admin in another (www.backshooters.com) corner of the q2 world, it is my [self-imposed perhaps] obligation to not take things like this lightly.

To the the TS community, I apologize for dragging/fanning the flames on this issue.
To haunted, I am not sorry, nor will I be a party to not making a big deal out of someone who cheats openly.
