I need a .pak file viewer/extractor. Can anybody recommend one? Free is good as well, thanks =)

Also, any way to donate to the cause of r1q2? To encourage further development perhaps.

pax explorer is ok, the options in it are kinda limited tho

I use pakscape, and you can find that here Punk...

ya punk, pakscape is the way to go, I get errors sometimes with pakexplorer trying to copy and paste things in it, and sometimes when you open a pak with it it corrupts the pak. Pakscape is much better.

pakexplorer is slow and buggy, freezez, crashes and everything

i also suggest pakscape. not to mention it basicly supports all quake games, doom3, pkz, and zip files heh

Thanks, ya I went with pakscape, Sean's comments seemed the most convincing, so I tried it first, and it seems to do the job just peachy =)

Haven't read the above posts, but I recommend PakScape actually, used it for ages and never had any troubles with it.

Yeah my last vote was an attempt at sarcasm, since everybody and their mother seemed to be saying "Go with Pakscape!". That's the first, and only one, I tried, and it foots/fits (which is it?) the bill just fine.
