don't be soo sure.  most steal private information if available, and sometimes the recievers get overwhelmed with all the passwords n such, so they selectively choose only certain ones.

I've taken the advice, using Firefox now, did a complete wipe of my drives....used WindowsWasher w/ bleach to make it the whitest white.

Aw Sigma - that's cheating. A complete wipe of the hard drive..... Now you have to re-install everything, update codecs etc etc. It's more fun to hunt down the little squirmy bastard and crush all its components to death - therein defeating the malicious fucker who designed it.

well it's always best to just do a complete fresh install, install all of your necessary applications and programs, and then back it all up on a DVD, this will save you hella time on a new install.  Of course, I always use a second HD for all my programs/downloads, so I don't have to bother with partitioning or losing data that I want to keep, unless of course, the virus deleted it.

My C: is only for my OS, so bleaching it was no problem. I still have my data drive and my game drive seperate. When I decide to plug it back in I need to make sure that I can do as thurough of a scan as possible on it just in case there are any programs that are maliscious.

Well here's to the sixpack and the dime bag that saw me through this hardship, it's bongover will be missed.
