Quake 2 Singleplayer Spawn Randomizer

I'm just wondering if a no bullshit randomizer for Q2 single player exists? Like something where monster spawns are randomized and there's no other bullshit.

no other bullshit.
Have you already found something like this that does contain "other bullshit"?
If it exists, "
with
bullshit", then it can probably be modified to remove whatever you don't want. I've never heard of something like that before, though.
Is it even possible? Not sure. The important question is
where
is the data located that determines monster counts/positions on the maps. If it's located within the gamex86.dll, then it'll probably be something that is difficult (maybe impossible) to implement. I'm not experienced on how this stuff works, but from what little I know, people are able to create "overrides" for multiplayer maps which changes weapon/ammo/armor placement. Not sure if something like that is possible for the stock singleplayer maps which would also override monster placement. I would think not, because monsters are not simple static items. Some of them move in preset patrol paths like the
enforcer
at the top of the stairs behind the level ending elevator at the end of "Outer Base"/Base1. I'm thinking override files don't have the ability to contain that type of data.

I've not found anything like that. I meant 'no bullshit' as no modded weapons or fancy stuff, just a chance of an enforcer being a tank, etc. Something simple that'd add a bit of challenge to single-player.

Quake II is not 27 years old. I refuse to accept THAT much time has gone by.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
