Technically, you could CHOOSE to disbelieve that Catholics actually possess the power to turn wine into blood, and thus shrug off most of everything else they do or say as senseless and unimportant... but it seems you'd rather CHOOSE to have a problem with it.

It's like the fact that they believe in God seems to ruin your life. I can assure you, the fact that YOU choose to NOT believe in God does not ruin their enjoyment of life.

At some point you gotta learn to say fuck it and just ignore things that don't really effect you. Here in the USA, everyone has the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Stop pursuing what makes you miserable and get on with the happy part.

So I know I'm necroing this thread and you and I have rarely seen eye to eye on politics... but I agree with this 100%! As long as you don't try to make me follow your beliefs, or try to hurt me for not following your beliefs, or try to make laws based on your beliefs... I don't really give a flying fuck if you believe the universe was created at 2.30pm last Tuesday by two Scottish dudes driving an ice cream van to Trancentral.
