Old Doom and Quake

I discovered something. It's really cool (and very difficult) to go through the old Doom, Doom 2, and Quake 1 SINGLE PLAYER games and try to go from start to finish on difficult level without getting fragged once. I guarantee that you will spend hours trying to achieve this. And when you get near the end you will be so wired that your hand will literally be shaking on the mouse in case you blow all those hours you have spent getting there. Try it!

How to rejuvenate single player Doom;

Install Zdoom (https://zdoom.org/) to your old Doom and Doom2 single player games. It adds all the modern Quake-type movements such as jumping, crouching, and most importantly 3D freelook to all your old single player Doom and Doom2 games, not to mention vastly improved resolution. You will almost begin to think you're young again.
