What is this "Bankhead" of which you speak? This intrigues me.

Because if it is wrung from gangsta rap lyrics... I have to tell you, I'm from Atlanta, where Bankhead Hwy is... and there's NOTHING glamorous or high-class about Bankhead. It's a dumpy ghetto full of mean-ass crackheads and street gangs that will shoot you dead and leave your corpse for the wino's to piss on.

And yeah, some 13 years later, Bankhead is still a shithole. The rabid gentrification consuming the northside hasn't quite reached there yet. Currently, it's an odd melange of a minimal number of liberal white hipster douchebags who refuse to live anywhere else for some reason, dispersed in a sea of some of the roughest thuggiest black folks you'll ever meet, and the occasional black college student from Morehouse, Spellman, or Clark Atlanta which are within walking distance. And honestly, some of the college students are indistiguishable from the thugs.
