Concerning "MyMap"

Hi all. Just wondering if you might consider changing the mymap option so one person can't dictate the map selections.

Perhaps changing it so that a majority vote is needed(as is done in whale) so one player can't constantly go to the same map over and over again which angers all the other players.

Thing is, "mymap" was born from my dislike of traditional map voting systems on FFA servers. So I'm not inclined to change fundamentally how "mymap" works, although tweaks & refinements are still possible.

Interestingly, on the dm server, even if I "mymap" my favorite map every time, you still get the full dm1-dm8 sequence in between. (It's the only one of our servers that currently works that way.)

So it doesn't even allow you to play a given custom map any more frequently than you're already playing dm1-dm8.

Someone on tonight, who i beleive changes names more than i do socks lol - changed it to a commonly used map simply to drive away the players (or turds as he called them), he seemed to think it was quite amusing, and judging by how much this partic map is requested, id say is more than a few doing this, simply to annoy ppl.

Im all for trying new maps, but it seems to be the same 2 or 3 constantly that get picked. All of which seem to be bfg spam maps and drive a lot  of players off the server until they have finished.
Some ppl join to request the maps, then dont even play them, can it not be made so that if they were picked last time then they cannot be the following time?

Which map was it?

That's certainly a feature that could be coded, yes.
