I mymapped it earlier.

Eh... one game is a little hard to pass judgement on it I guess.

I couldn't find the railgun, I had to pick one up from someone else to have one.

The odd stairs and stepped floors in the room with the boxes, RL and yellow armor and adrenaline made the rocket fights that broke out in that area a little more challenging and interesting. The double jump to the red armor OR jumping down to it from above was a good feature. I kept stealing it from above from frustrated people who couldn't make the double jump up to it. :D

The strange "closet" with the BFG... I dunno if I like that so much. If the map is more sparsely populated and you've got one better player whooping the shit out of everyone else with rockets in that area, I suppose it does give them a tool to equalize that a little bit. But then again, it gives the guy kicking their ass a BFG to use as well.

Some of the hallways seemed very long and narrow, which is obviously going to encourage rail spam in those areas.

So if I had to complain about something, that would be the main thing. The layout was good, its different and unique feeling for sure, but I just felt like many of the halls were a little too narrow.

thx for the feedback, Focalor. here is a small demo showing the second RL and the railgun.

if someone is camping in the railgun - corridor, you can get him from the  neighbouring
corridor, there is also a ladder to get out, if someone is waiting at the exit for you.

hard to tell how much the layout encourages spamming and camping, however, if someone is ruling the main hall with rockets, he can't prevent  the others from  getting the rail.
so there should be a minimum of balance.

the map plays also well with the awaken2 - mod, where the BFG is replaced with a shock-rifle/desintegrator and the shotgun with a gauss-pistol.

yep , the size of the corridors and rooms .... will try to keep an eye on that next time.
