Announcement: Quake II 20th Anniversary Duel Cup Series

Starting on the 16th of September, we'll be running 3 weeks of back-to-back NA/EU duel cups! Signups are below, and everything will be covered live on tastyspleen.tv
I'll be attempting to put together some funds for each week's top3 - I'm down on income at the moment, so that may turn into a donation drive.

Format:
Double Elim
If we have more than 16 players, UB matches until UB Semis will be Bo1
Grand Final will be played in a 2xBo3 format.

Server settings:
OpenTDM, all fixes.
10 minutes, 2min OT
Powerups OFF
Tastyspleen/Packetflinger will be used in NA, EDL allowed servers used in EU.

Map Pool:
q2dm1
q2dm3
ztn2dm3
q2rdm2
q2duel1

Map Picks:
High seed picks first, then low seed. Remaining map is low toss/high toss.

Match Streaming:
One server will be selected for streaming matches over the course of the cup. An admin will coordinate match delays in order to secure matches in this server back-to-back. If you are asked to delay for this reason, please comply. Other servers may be streamed in order to meet latency demands.

Prize Distribution:
1st Place Week 1: $50 USD
1st Place Week 2: $50 USD
1st Place Week 3: $100 USD

Additional prizemoney may be donated to jehar@tastyspleen.net - 100% of donations will go directly to the next week's prize pool, in a 50/35/15 split once the pool reaches more than $100 USD.

I just signed up there on the challonge website. I'm from Brazil and my ping will be bad, but I want to participate just for fun. But I'll take it seriously, hahaha.

I would really love to play, but that's right in the middle of my shift.  Is there any possibility it could be moved to Sunday anytime (my off day)?  Saturdays I'm at work until 7 at least.

Wow, no ptrip on this map list. That's a shame. I just realized that.
