Quake on Windows 10

I am trying to load Quake 2 on my new computer which uses Windows 10 64 bit operating system. It says not compatible with a 64 bit system. Is there any way around this?

I don't have W10 here, but there are definitely versions of Q2 that work on that OS.

Thanks a lot. That got me started. My new machine will not recognize the Q2 folders that were brought over from the old computer. When trying to load the game on the new machine, it see's the Q2 disc as a music disc? But anyway, I can still play but have to wait on it to d/l all the maps.

BTW, you can download most of the maps, textures, and sounds from the .zip files located here:

http://tastyspleen.net/quake/downloads/

However, you'll still need the full baseq2/pak0.pak (183,997,730 bytes) from your original install disc to get the single-player maps. (We can't post the pak0.pak for copyright reasons.)
