heyayayays
iv been wanting to put together a pak file that has solid colored weapons/items/new simplified hud/sounds and the like
just to see what its like
and a config that makes it super bright and turns off all the eye candy like you quake2 pros do it heh
anyways, iv been having a hard time with this
i created all solid color skins for the vanilla items/ammo/weapons and player skins
but in r1q2 they all look totaly black no matter what gl_modulate setting i have on or anything
they look fine in egl
second, i saw a screenshot on here i think of element, where there was no colored lights at all, and it was really bright
but it wasent software mode, it was still opengl
i couldnt find the commands to make it like that
and was wondering if anyone knew them

gl_coloredlightmaps 0 to turn off colored light maps.. (contrary to client, might not work with some/most)
