The GGL site appears to be worth signing up.

There are sites, however, which only have content (e.g. Filefront) but want to be a community site (e.g. TastySpleen).  So they force users to signup, spam the signups, have ad-laden multi-page click throughs, and little if any community or content.  I believe this is what Mr X is trying to point out -- and is why people deep link, use bugmenot, etc.

I well understand that it costs money and time to setup a site, but I'm unterested (in general) in signing up for things unless there is some significant value.  In this case, I think there is.

i dont see anything wrong with wasting a minute or two for registering for a free website to get something out of it.. once or more. its just typing in forms like you're doing on this thread.. mr. x is the stupid one if he doesn't want to do that to get soemthing he wants.. but expects us to get the video from the site and make it downloadable for his lazy ass? lol..

Or is it the laziness thing, maybe, afterall, since when it turned out you did have room to record the demo, you changed your tune and said:
