unfortunately, I think you right about that adam, there is only a few eur0 players compared to all of the others. If people could be available for an even later game, that might go into early sunday morning in the USA, then it's possible you could be able to play...OR, you could get some sleep early and then set an alarm

Who says there can't be any prizes for winning a tournament, or even coming in second, third or fourth? They don't have to be money prizes, like cash, software or hardware. Though I haven't attempted getting Tokay's Revival beta tested by anyone for some time, Tastyspleen runs servers that can. I don't just mean having the winner list his as any map in a .pak (like choice of DM number), but having people beta test, critique and include it in an official file before the next tourney rolls around.

I know there are rendering issues with W4Q2DM2a, but that could be solved by a better binary space partition program. How about if I win, we convince Rich to work his magic on QuArK's floating point build tools, assuming he's not already willing to do it just out of interest? Who knows, maybe I can finally shove that damn thing out the door and usher in a new wave of 4v4-6v6 competition. Maybe someone else who plays (Elysium, Defiant, etc) can throw in a map each and we'd have ourselves an officially supported group of maps run by Tastyspleen server regularly.

I've tried throwing around the idea of The Wake for Quake 2 being a line of maps (W4Q2DM*, CTF*, JM* for Jumpmod, QP* for QPong and so on), now it might finally be realized. Just a thought.

yeah in ffa ely's the most consistent player I've ever seen, doesn't matter which map it is either
