Windows 10 and Quake 2 Engines

Hi all,

This may have already been asked, but has anyone had issues with Quake II and Windows 10.  I'm about to buy a new laptop, and it comes with this installed. 

I use Q2Pro for MP and KMQuake2 (first person) for SP games and Coop or Die mod. I think the KMQuake2 will work OK, but I'm concerned about Q2Pro as this is my optimum Multi Player Engine set up.   

Any thoughts?

(which i think wasn't a bad deal comparing/considering all the other barebones kits available.) i wanted to sell off my current rig  to raise money to keep me out of poverty. (which was about a souped up playstation 4 equivalent. However, since i'm going to get practically nothing for my rig parts, i'm going to keep it and scrape to buy a new low budget mobo.

i  just bought 3 $20 graphics cards (looking at hierarchy tables on toms list) 1st one was a respectable 9800 GT from nvidia. but since the mobo is made for low profile cards i bought another one(s) to find out that i needed a VGA adapter because my DVI cable was somehow fried.

anyways, long story short. i fired up quake live, i get respectable frames with some occasional bottleneck (LOL) old ass game right? (with the integrated graphics i couldn't even boot CS1.3) so i figure a dual core with 4 GB of ram and a decent graphics card will let me play all the pre 2007 games. i want to soup this rig up a lil with a duo core extreme and 4gb more ram. i got  hop back on q2 clan arena and rock some ass lol
