Clear water texture and female armor pickup announcer sound file

Just as the title says Im looking for the pak that makes water completely clear (I think it just completely removes the water textures from the files) and the female announcer that says "shield" when you pick up armour. Just wandering if anyone has or knows where to get the files or paks?

you mean replacing the water texture or change what you see inside the water??

"cl_blend" can make you see clearly in water, but to see from outside, for example, someone inside the water in q2dm1 its the same thing as using a wallhack

There is no pak or legitimate modification that will do this for you. The surface texture for the water on any map is specified by the map file itself. On some maps, it is transparent and you can see other players swimming around. On others, it is a solid texture to prevent you from seeing the location of submerged players (like the railgun pool and tunnel on Q2DM1-Edge). It is not possible to make these solid water textures become transparent without modifying the map file to command it to do so. If you do that, I'm fairly certain your own map will no longer be the same map the server is running and you will not connect.

A person might attempt to replace/overwrite their water textures with a blank transparent PNG image, but that won't work either. The map will still make the surface a solid non-transparent texture. No way around it without cheating. And don't cheat, it's lame.

i'm guessing there's a few different types and damage varieties like in Doom. lava, slime, clouded and clear?
