Chivas regal is a decent goto scotch. That and dewars are your best bang for your buck in the scotch world, Chivas being marginally better and marginally more expensive.

Ballantines is garbage.

Johnny walker red, black, ANYTHING BUT BLUE, garbage.

Johnny walker blue is decent but absurdly expensive and not worth it.

High commissioner is garbage.

Overall it's a terrible picture of alcohol.

Chivas is good whisky. but expensive.. sure its a good whisky to drink, if you are in a good bar

Ballantines is something in the middle,sure not very good but I wouldnt say garbage.

Johnnie Walker Red..this brings back good memories..and thats why I like it. easy to find it everywhere(I dont know in USA,in Europe is)
It is strong,maybe not expensive but its good quality.

Famous Grouse..Dewar's...not bad

but these are the whiskeys everybody knows...
how about whiskeys that are rare?..difficult to find..expensive..with very strange taste..strange colors..some of them you find them only in Scotland..maybe I ll talk about this later
