TIME TO BAN VADER

OK guys enough is enough already............Lord Vader or any of the thousands of aliases he uses is now impersonating other players trying to ruin reputations as well as impersonating Null and claiming he's the mod. Today alone he's impersonated Null / Bishop , Coyote, Nipples Malone and BadKitty.

You can always tell it's him by how badly he plays compared to those real people and his affection for using black holes because he cant score any other way. He acts like he's about 10 and it's past time to teach him a lesson about impersonating admins.

Ban him for a week or something and then if he comes back and insists on continuing that behavior then make it perm.

While tastyspleen doesn't admin the whale server, we do have player/IP data from WallFly.

"Lord Vader" has had the same IP for over a year, and I'm seeing no evidence of any recent playername spoofing on his IP.

I'm also not seeing evidence of anyone recently spoofing "Bishop", "Coyote", "Nipples...", or "BadKitty".

(Although there is a different player from Mexico on cable.dyn.cableonline.com.mx who uses the name "coyote" on the vanilla and dm servers.)

But in short, I'm not seeing evidence to back up the claim that these names have recently been spoofed in general, nor does it appear that "Lord Vader" has been spoofing anyone at all.

(For future reference, posting condumps showing any alleged spoofing in context makes it easier to research on this end.)
