Dallas TX Lan party/console gaming night

Any one in DFW area interested in joining me n a Co worker and possibly 2 of our fellow quake2 brothers for a game night/Lan party.

I've recently had my friend/Co worker install quake2 and try it a few times he still has much to learn about quake2 physics and game play etc

I've also got a 2nd Co worker to install quake2 and give it a try. He is a single father of twins so might be a little bit tougher to get him in on the Lan/console gaming night. Maybe with a little planning and a baby sitter we could get him on board too.

I know it's short notice but I was thinking maybe this Sunday. . And if that doesn't work out we can take some time n plan it some other weekend in the future that is better for whoever may be interested.

So as of now I have a definite 2 myself and 1 Co worker to be attending.

3 warm prospects for total of 5 people in mind for this game night

Maybe 2 more of my Co workers making total of 7 potential attendees.  These last 2 im not quite sure how likely they are to make the time for this but you never know.

Between myself and 1 Co worker we have 4 laptops. For quake2.  You may need to bring your own mouse/keyboard.

We will be playing console games on N 64 wii Xbox maybe some other systems too

As of now I was thinking goldeneye Mario kart call of duty black ops/zombies whatever else might sound fun to whoever is participating in sure we can make it happen any game/console

And of course Quake2

Two main reasons for this.

1. Just to have a little fun meet new acquaintances build new friendships/networking
2. Help bring new blood to the quake2 community with friendship and taking the time to teach newbies how to play an old school game.

Feel free to reply here or private msg me we can discuss details and plan for weather this Sunday is okay or further into he future is better. What items such as keyboards mice laptops might be needed.

If enough are interested we may need to work together on ensuring we have enough space, tables/chairs switches laptops etc to make it all happen

think we are planning on Sunday November 21st 2015 week from tomorrow

for small get together in DFW area.  north dallas or carrollton

Console gaming, Wii N64 xbox ps etc
over 40,000 games if you include PC emulators
we have switches and network cables for LAN and getting everyone setup for quake2
a few extra laptops if cant bring one
bring a mouse tho and keyboard if you wish to use not sure how many we can supply

at least 4 people attending more welcome just msg me for details

May be another couple weeks or so due to people schedules let me know if interested and I'll keep you posted of what weekend and what day we will all be getting together.

Had a few more quake guys from Dallas on Facebook group say they were interested in join in.

May end up with 10 or so people for this event

Probably going to be sat or sunday Dec 12th or 13th.

Whatever day is better for the majority.

Expecting 5-10 people more or less.

Grilling some fajitas,  have a couple beers, get two console systems going on two tvs

And Lan some quake2 n connect to tasty dm, ra2, maybe some lfire ctf too.
