Also had a few people ask me about my latest Q2 pak featuring lots of new custom models. I was hoping I could've had it out by Xmas, but there's no way that's gonna happen. Started working on it again last week, but there's still too much to do to get it out before Dec 25th. I'm hoping to have it done and posted by mid to late January... maybe... hopefully... we'll see.

In a cabin in the mountains. Unrelated to tho thread, but I treated myself to a badass SOG tactical tomahawk for Xmas I like it better than my crkt. Tomahawks are the shit, perfect medium range weapon.

Every damn year I keep saying that I'm gonna rent a place for the winter either up in Helen GA or maybe Highlands NC, and every year I never do. Might say fuck it and do it this winter though, at least for a week or two. Was hoping to do it before the hunting season closed, but that's Jan 1st, so that shit ain't gonna happen. But if I can't hunt, there ain't much reason to rent a place. Might just end up camping for a week somewhere out in the middle of nowhere way up on a mountain just north of Helen. Somewhere I can drive my truck to and park close to where I camp so I can run back into Helen whenever I run out of beer and ice and whatever else. Probably make daily runs to somebodies house around there to buy a shitload of split firewood. Used to when I'd camp out up there for a weekend, I'd spend the vast majority of my time hunting for firewood and sawing up logs with a bow saw until my arms were like jelly. Fuck THAT shit. I'm just gonna relax with a beer and some smoke and a warm fire and no damn woman talking my ear off. Just me and the fuckin' trees and some SILENCE!

Yeah I was about an hour away from highlands, just got back today. Bullshitted in Franklin which is pretty close to there though. It's a nice area in general, but I think I'm going near Boone next time. Definitely get one, it was just what I needed haha

I used to go to the Linville/Boone area a lot when my wife's mother lived there.  It is a real nice area no matter what time of year.
Close to ski areas in the winter and good hiking and chilling in the summer (high temps in the 70's).

So what kinda loot did everyone get for crimmus?

I didn't get too much. Some clothes. A pretty nice UGA hoodie. I've already got like 6, and that's all I wear in the winter time, so one more for the collection.

Got an Xbox One, pretty cool. Comes bundled with Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Black Flag. Also for Xbox, got Madden 15, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Battlefield 4, and Destiny. Was entirely bummed the fuck out when I went looking online and learned that there weren't any NCAA Football games for Xbox One. I like the Madden NFL games, but I'm a lot more into college football these days than NFL. I dunno, something about that whole argument of college athletes not being financially compensated (due to NCAA rules) for their likenesses being incorporated into these games which are making TONS of money that they'll never see a dime of. Bleh. Wish they could've held off cancelling the series until they released at least ONE version of it for Xbox One.

Probably gonna exchange Destiny for something else. Don't know much about the game, but from what very little I've seen of it, it just doesn't seem like anything I'd be interested in. Might take Call of Duty Advanced Warfare back too. I kinda fell outta love with the Call of Duty franchise back when they came out with Black Ops 2. The futuristic bullshit they added to the game didn't float my boat at all. Seems like Advanced Warfare takes the futuristic stuff even further, so I probably won't like it. It's the kind of game that takes me about 2 or 3 days to play though it all, and then I lose interest and I don't play it anymore.

Probably gonna pick up a copy of UFC, maybe WWE 2k15, and definitely gonna get GTA5. Once I do, you fuckers won't be hearing from me for probably months and months.

Justin Bieber got a jet for christmas. All these people in Missouri screaming about "injustice" and bitching about the wrong thing. Nah, man. "Injustice" is that someone like Justin fuckin' Bieber has as much money as he does for what he does and who he is. He's fuckin' NOBODY. I hope he attempts to fly it and then crashes into Selena Gomez's house - kill two birds with one stone, literally. Or even better... crash into Miley Cyrus's house. Or maybe Miley and Selena live close enough together that a secondary explosion could get them both.

I got this little laptop I'm using to post on right now. It's a 2 and 1 thing, the screen pops off and it's a tablet also. Speaking of baby Jesus, I'm at Chick-Fil-A right now using their WiFi as my truck is being worked on at the mechanic. My parents probably got me a thing or two but I haven't seen them so, whatever. I went to the mountains though, that was kind of fun. Spent time with the new chick. She got me a bunch of UNC stuff: towel, deck of cards, and sweatshirt. She got me a new gerber multitool for work cuz I lost my last one. And like I said earlier, I treated myself to a tactical SOG tomohawk. I also got a SOG knife while I was at it. Lets see if I have any pics...

Nothing says Merry Christmas like razor sharp murderin' essentials. Had no idea anyone even made shit like that. Might have to look into getting me something similar. Something like that would be handy for camping and hunting. Usually when I camp somewhere, I only bring along my big bow saw for cutting firewood and pair of long handled pruners for cutting and clearing brush. Something like that I could just chop away at the root through the dirt and leave no little stumps to poke holes in tent bottoms or trip over in the dark.

SOG and CRKT make really nice ones that are tactical and even military issue, and nice knives/tools in general. Tomohawk throwing is fun as shit haha. With some praictice I'm picking off 16.9oz water bottles(on a wooden stand, with wood behind it) from 40 feet away about 1 out of 4-5 times(through the water bottle, blade sticking in the wood behind it). I'm always close when I miss. I feel like there's NO way i'd miss a larger "target" from that range.
