Quake 2 replay editor: Does one exist?

There is much easier way

Use q2pro as client

add in autoexec.cfg
bind P "record ${cl_mapname}_${com_date}_${com_time}"
bind S "stop"

play multimap demo and during playback just record desired parts

and there is 2nd easy way but only if you didn't played same map

Put your demo into the same directory as splitdem
Go to a DOS prompt and cd to the splitdem directory (or change to dir in Total Commander)
type splitdem demoname.dm2 (or in command line of Total Commander)

It will extract all the demos into their own dm2 files and name them based on the map they were played on.
