ex knows no bounds

Was in jump mod earlier and I actually completed a map!
I was so excited I bellowed and celebrated with glee.

Then all of a sudden, the jackass of all jackasses enters the map and proceeds to gay the entire scoreboard through a glitch lol...if you go to this jump map, ex's time is 1/2 that of the next player by using a glitch he discovered.

That's the glitch where you clip onto a brush and it pushes you really fast to the ceiling of a map? If that's the same glitch he used, there have been quite a few maps which have been hotfixed by admins, in order to prevent that glitch being used. Just notify one of the jump admins and they probably will help you out.

You have to really carefully inch yourself to the edge of a ledge, which will rocket you up to the top of the map. It won't work on certain ledges, though.

It's courteous to at least not do that on maps with 15 or more times on the board, since when you get a first place like that and an admin removes it, it permanently knocks off 15th place, leaving a hole in the scoreboard.

from this, it sounds like the jump community frowns upon using a glitch like this to get a good time on a map

so despite 2dum being 2dum, it is still kind of a dick move for ex to do that

True, but it's just the type of stuff ex and 2dum do to each other. I'm sure 2d would have thoroughly enjoyed doing to ex.

To fix that error on that map would require blocking the entire area above the bottom, all the way around it.  It can be done from any point on the bottom.

ft2 and apocalypse5 have the same problem. Ironically, I have times on both of those maps because of the glitch, but I was under the assumption that an admin would immediately remove them. So far, no admins have either been present for these maps or cared enough about them to do anything. 

I remember the same problem occurring with forkjumping, and the times were left up for about a week before someone actually did something. About 4 or 5 times from the bottom of the scoreboard were permanently deleted because of it. Just one of the many things that I don't agree with about how the jump server is currently being run. :<
