Forum Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted

I used to be able to read the "WOD-X 1.7 documentation" thread, but now I just get the following error trying to access it:

that would be a PHP memory limit error

looks to be set appropriately high, so there is probably just something wrong with the content of that thread being too large when ran through php

likely just something stupid inside of that thread that needs to be removed, which quadz can do manually if he wants to

This same thing happened with a jumpmod admin FAQ thread I used all the time. It's going over its memory limit because there's probably way too many special effects and formatting (like bold, italic, colored text). So what Quadz has to do is go in and remove lots of the cool effects so it's more plain looking to reduce the memory size. PM him about it if he doesn't see this.

Yes, it appears to be a bug associated with the latest version of the forum software. (Or possibly a broken interaction between the latest version and whatever mods I already have installed.)

Whatever the reason, it now uses a ton of memory trying to render posts which have a lot of markup. I spent awhile making dozens of edits trying to figure out if it was any specific markup or bad formatting or whatnot, but no: it seems it's just the overall amount of bold/italic/color/etc. bbcode tags.

A temporary workaround, if you encounter this error, is to request the page without formatting, which can be done by appending ";wap2" to the URL:
