chat command for autorespond Engine/Version

There used to be a chat command you could type inside Quake 2, and everyone on the same server would automatically respond with their Client/Version of their Q2 Client. What's this command so I can see what version everyone is using?

What is command to find out what GFX u have in r1q2

cant remember didnt use it for few years...  :help:

I don't remember any command, I've always used the Esc key to access the menu and manipulated the video mode that way.

Do you mean 'gl_strings'?

It displays a bunch of graphics related strings which usually includes the vendor (nvidia/ati, etc) and graphics card/renderer.

on query  "!xyz"  on server (as u get with !version what version of r1q2 u have) every one on server see what is vendor and redereder gfx ur using
smth like this:  NVIDIA Corporation GeForce 6600/PCI/SSE2
