he cant seem to hit anything he's actually moving the mouse to aim at, and then the hits he does make all have an odd last minute snap to them.

ps: there's a common logical fallacy that you have to be doing well to be cheating.
I wish people would stop repeating it. Some people were still shit even when they cheated, like that guy magic.

 i thought it was obvious it was a bot on low setting you can see the snapping effect even if it doesnt hit anything. I do have anothrr demo from the same day which i will gladly post when i get home from work.

I just watched the short clip.   

I'm not convinced.  The shots that didnt hit were in the ballpark enough that a bot should have gotten it.
The flicks/snap occur after the gun fired, and they both went the same direction and aimed at..  nothing?

I'll watch the full demo sometime and see it all in context.

No? Then keep the snarky bullshit to yourself, it's not like nobody has ever been botting here before and alpha is doing what he thinks is his part to keep it clean around here.

You have the same right as he does to make a claim and support it with what you think is evidence.

the problem is that this is essentially a "witch-hunt". 

Someone new comes around, does well, and is immediately called out as a bot.  The "snapping effect" is something most good railers do.  You track the opponent and snap the wrist right before the shot.  I see plenty of others do this -- "crazymofo", "crazypanda", "Bud", "Pile00. . . something", just to name a few.

The demos presented in this case couldn't possibly prove anything.  You can't compare the demos posted here to, say, the other one Alpha posted for "gunner".  In the gunner clip, the evidence is clear and there's no question.

What exactly would you have me say that would possibly satisfy the likes of you or alpha?   My guess is nothing.  For what it's worth, I've never looked into botting, I don't know what they're called, I don't know how they work, where to install them and, quite frankly, I wouldn't waste my time.  I understand that some people use bots, it sucks and it ruins the fun for everyone, but you can't call decent railers out as bots simply because there's a "snapping effect" in their game.

I am a very active (and I'd like to think highly regarded) member of the Q2 LMCTF community and play quite a bit.  In fact, I organize weekly pub games and run our Official League:  www.lmctf.com/beatdown.  Why would I jeopardize my reputation among my peers by using a bot in a rail-only mod?  It just wouldn't make any sense. 


Anyway, that's my attempt at a defense.  Probably not up to your standards, but I gave it a shot.

let's get this straight:

1: Your play wasn't so good you got called a bot, the movement of your aim was what did that.
2: nothing you just said proves anything about your gameplay.
3: I play primarily instagib and I've actually seen and played good players for years. They don't make shitty ineffective snappy motions with their mouse and they have a good 3x better accuracy than you.
4: alpha provided demos, you provided nothing.

The admins will look at the demos and if it's something they see as fishy, they'll compare/contrast this fishy thing with what you've brought to the table, which is effectively nothing. It's in your best interest to show that your play is not fishy.

What exactly would you have me say that would possibly satisfy the likes of you or alpha?   My guess is nothing.

If you'd taken the simple step of using, i dunno... ANTICHEAT .. the program that the server you are on, mentions to you in the middle of your screen upon entering, in a big annoying nag message... any assumptions about botting would have been pretty much squashed for the vast majority of people who might think something is up.

Historically anticheat has been very effective at blocking most known aimbots and I'd hope such an active player might have heard about it by now.

There is a major difference between a rail flick shot and a bot snap shot, which imo was easily sighted in the first demo, for instance in the first demo a player was running up the stairs on dm8 about the mid way point, u were near where the ssg normally is and you snap turn and fire, the rail hits the ground as if it was locked on to the person running up the stairs. I do have another demo from that day which is very interesting as well which i will post later.

Also i will mention that i was not the only person to call you a bot that day. other players in the server also noticed your snapping, it looked like u were shooting out your ass at times, classic bot action

absolutely nothing fishy about that whatsoever. i do the same damn thing with my shots from time to time. its funny when i flick the mouse a full 270 degrees and actually hit something with a supersonic snap shot.
