if i can run default opengl should i be able to run anticheats? i have 8x 256 apg card.please no laughs

you're running a geforce fx 5200 or 6200 judging from those stats so you should have no problem running quake 2 in opengl. I've done it on much older nvidia cards than those and I have a test system right here on which I was able to make it work fine with a fx5200.
 
anticheat would work in software mode.

computer hardware is not your problem if you can't get ac to work.

you nailed it whirlingdervish it is a 5200 and i can run in r1gl in software.is that all i can expect? thanx for ur time and help.

You should instal proper drivers for gf5200 and it will work fine in opengl or r2gl in q2
