I clicked the link. A P3-667 in software mode would run Q2 better then a Pentium MMX, Pro or 2 with 3D acceleration. A P2-600 would run Q2 as good in software mode as an older machine with 3D acceleration. P3's were monster processors. I had one of those P3's. I had it until I replaced it with an AMD XP 1800. That was between ~2002 and 2007.
