Haunted youre a fucking retard. If you want truth why not state that this was the first month, maybe the first week i re installed the game and found out about the tastyspleen servers. As you can tell, im not super computer high tech, so it took me a while to figure out why i was getting green / red spikes and lagging like a motherfucker everywhere. If you look through your old demos you will repeatedly see me saying im lagging or chopping etc. This went on until creepz helped me out with my config and optimizing my computer and telling me my vid card took memory away from my cpu. Everytime i load quake i have to ctrl alt del and close down lots of processes and load game booster to optimize my cpu to get a maximum 80 FPS. Ya thats right, 80. And with 80, i still am able to plow through lots of people like a tornado.

He even stated that he could prove me wrong by loading things up(rk claimed the same thing as well, only he at least had the brains to not load up cheats as retaliation)

Uh... what?  Not sure if cr33pz knew what he was talking about, because it's my understanding that a GPU is supposed to allow your processor to use its own memory to its maximum potential, as the lack of a video card causes your CPU to use a lot of its own power for video processing instead of raw computing power.

Unless of course he was referring to your CPU actually being your GPU (onboard video), which yes he would be correct.  BTW, I have a 1.8 Ghz Core2 Duo 4300, which is onboard Intel POS chipset.  :>

I average around that fps.  BTW, Start -> "msconfig" and hit enter:  go to the Startup tab, and you can select what will/won't load at start.

It's a problem with the q2admin program.  It gets confused and mistakes a lag spike for a bot.  So if your connection is laggy, it can think you have a modified client.

They are 2 different pieces of software.

Good Ra2 Night

Highlights:

  Started around 8:30pm til 1am pst
  Played for 4 hours and built up to a 6v6 with lots of people popping in and out.
  played map 27, 24, 9, dakyne, faks, 17
  Clan ltr showed up in numbers, pencil, aZ, some new people (yumie!) as well
  UFC Fight played a role in occupying people's nights (silva lost like a retard)
  everyone had a good time talking and playing
 

  A reminder: to spec, hit tab-->create new team-->scroll down to mapname-->do not press enter -->press backspace
     *note, this only works if competition mode is voted off
  for new players: rocket arena spawns you with every weapon and full ammo, places you on one of 2 teams, red or blue, and lets you rocket jump.
