Martial Arts - what do you think?

Hi, folks!

Besides Quake2 fanatic, I'm an aspiring MMA fighter. I made 1 amateur fight in 2008 and 3 professional fights in 2012, but do not know if I will continue with that, I need to decide. 
I always liked martial arts since I was 14. I started in Karate Shotokan and then went to Jiu-Jitsu. But the fact that I know some martial arts has helped me get away from some confusion.

But what about you? Someone, q2 players, practice or have practiced any martial art? What was the importance they have in your life? Tell a story that, if you remember some!!!

That's the one thing that I don't really like about UFC. They can't do knees or kicks to the face when an opponents hand is down, yet a guy can upkick from his back right to someones face. Fuck that shit. If you can land it, go for it!

Yes, this event was not allowed to kick the face of an opponent at least three support, I guess! I even did not remember this rule and fought thinking that it was allowed!

I agree, that's why I liked most of the rules of Pride!
