isn't one of those bethesda facts wrong? pretty sure it was named quake2 because they couldn't get the licensing rights to the name they wanted, not because it fit with quake1's gameplay

ffa REALLY aint my thing so I prob won't show up cause all I enjoy about ffa is trolling people and don't need that with a packed server

Twas fun. Bunch of people showed. Even saw [BTF]DeathStalker for the first time in a while. Went on for a good 3 hours or more before Sponge finally left, and a few of us kept at it for a while afterwards. We should do this kinda thing more often. Another New Years Bash this year perhaps?

here's one on dm3, chaotic/ridiculous, i start with 3 before i even move from deaths/telefrags haha

edit: check the size of that demo(it's only 10 minutes long).

I have a bunch of demos but there are some where I was AFK or sitting out some of the action so I'm gonna look through them and see which are the good ones. Plus I really suck @ Q2. LOL!

Part way through the event I started recording multi-view server demos:

Note that these demos won't play in a regular Q2 client without first being edited. (I thought that the q2pro client would play these, but apparently it only reads its own .mvd2 format instead.)

I know there's a tool out there somewhere that can extract any player's view from these server demos.

If anyone has more info about how to view these demos, please post info/links.

Server-recorded demos can be mucked about with using LMPC - http://sourceforge.net/projects/lmpc/
