Fox server admin....

   Can the admin of the fox server unban me please? Every time I try to connect it refuses and "ASSHOLE!" comes up in the console. I literally said "this mod sucks cock" once, got kicked, reconnected, played for a minute, then got banned. This was the only time i've actually played at this server, and I think a permenant ban for this reason alone is a little extreme. I apologize for mouthing off, and would like to be able to play at this server in the future.

People wanting xatrix to be this "friendly" place where you can't say a single foul word without getting perma-banned is the reason the mod is fucking dead. If people want to play, then let them play. If they like it, then they come back and get more people on the server.

On the other hand... AZ actually is an asshole. It's no surprise that someone without the borderline masochistic zen patience of a Quadz would elect to show this generally disagreeable little snotnose to the door with a swift kick in the ass. He's the type of asshole that I could imagine would start beating a few people there, and then start calling everyone a "fgt" or a "noob" even though they never said one word to him about anything. And that's precisely the behavior that would finish killing off what little activity that server gets anymore.

Then again, Fader was also banned for being generally disruptive. So I guess in regards to his support for AZ being allowed to subject everyone on that server to his douchery, Faders motives are completely innocent?

Yeah, AZ's an asshole, but he's still a player. No reason to be banned over being an asshole. Since he's coming on here trying to apologize, then I'd say you might as well let him back. Unless he engages in the same behavior, then I'd kick him if I didn't have access to the mute function as a warning. Plus, I really don't give a shit if I'm banned from an already empty server. -1 player for xatrix in the long run.

(Seriously though, xatrix is dead. Banning people from a dead mod is nonsensical.)

EXTERMINATOR has a low threshold for bullshit is what I notice.  He's a guy in his 50s and he's had his run-in with assholes long before Fader or AZ were around for sure, so it's not really surprising that this happened.  Plus the main problem is EX pays for his own spot here, so if he wants you banned, that's just how it is.

AZ did a good job apologizing, so it's in EX's court now.  Personally, I could give a fuck less either way about AZ.  He's good to play with when he isn't running his mouth, but it's not like his absence is a noticeable loss.

If AZ acts like an asshole on the server and runs off players, that is a minus for the xatrix server.
If I ran the server, I would give him one more chance and make sure he knows that one more issue and it's a ban.

Run your server how you want, but don't be surprised when it's that same freedom that keeps people away.

Actually, if he wants me to behave, he should at least return the favor. I remember actually settling this bullshit with him back when I actually cared about playing on xatrix, even when I had NO idea why I made him mad, until I was rebanned for a reason I've yet to determine; not that I care about xatrix anyway to find out, it's just immature. I've still gotten a few nasty invites from You-know-who at railz for doing basically nothing. He may be in his 50's, but he acts like he's in the single digits.

You need to draw the line somewhere when it comes to running a server.

If you assume I'm trolling, then why would you take me seriously after I say the server sucks, when I played it for less than 10 minutes? I'd honestly just like to try the mod out. I'm not here to troll, or be a smart ass. I've been "trolling" (along with countless others) on many servers for a long time, never once had a warning. Had I known it would take me one negative sentence to get banned, I wouldn't  have said anything in the first place. If the admin said "stop the shit talking or I'll ban you", then the problem would of been over then and there.

Banning people for saying shit like that is the perfect reason to not involve yourself with his server.   If he enjoys paying for a server that's 95% dead air so he can feel like he has some power, let em.   He obviously has issues as home, probably a wife that took the pants and left him with a pink skirt.   In the end, I feel bad for someone so starved for any position of authority that they look to a game server to feign any sort of actual final say in anything.

he banned me for using his smiley "8^)", and I used it less than he did for the small duration I was there. I didn't say anything, other than the smiley...(he coincidentally didn't kill me a single time during this duration.).

I took it as a clear sign that I shouldn't bother with him or his server

One time I said "coon" on dm, and Quadz (or whoever runs DM) simply asked me not to say it, and that was the end of it. ( I know I said I never had a warning from an admin, shut up though ) I'm saying a verbal warning can solve a temporary problem, instead of banning that person forever.
