I guess BigWig is one of those cool cats that scoff at the thought of wasting a Saturday night on a stupid game =P I think he's saying that Saturday is a night many "cool" guys have stuff planned, therefore BigWig already is booked.

I think plastik's assumption is that most people work M-F, so Saturday is essentially free for them. And I think that's true in most cases (mine not included). So Saturday is probably a good day/evening, most people won't be at work, and if they chose to play such a game on that night, they would have that option without interfering in the most common pre-planned obligation, a job.

1) A couple people mentioned a "most frags in 24 hours" tourney on Vanilla, now that would be brutal, fun, but also embarassing to win!

2) Digency, I think Plastic said that camping would be discouraged but enforcement isn't guaranteed.

I don't forsee camping being a big problem due to all the good players that are signing up. I've played most of you at one point in time or another, and I am confident that everyone will play fairly. But rest assured that if it does get a bit TOO extreme with the camping, the person will be given warnings before they are thrown out of the game. I know i know, don't hang me, I know I said a no policy on camping. Anything that degrades the success and fun of this tourney is a problem, and therefore will be taken care of, hope this helps. seeyaz fight night!

Also, I apologize for the confusion, It was my mistake, I've been up late alot lately, so I really need some more sleep than I'm getting.

EDIT: if there are too many players for the size of a map, then I will simply intervene with a new map of my choosing, on the fly, so that we can keep things moving along.. I won't issue a revote for maps because that would simply keep slowing down the match. perhaps a WARMUP match to see if it will cause problems, like 10 minutes, or so.

Also, I do plan on having a Tasty 500 by at the very least 1x a month if possible, and of course the winner will named 'Player of the Month' or 'FFA Player of the month'. We will learn from our mistakes in this one, and use that knowledge for the next and so on and so forth. amen? j/k
