Halquake Vanilla CTF Server

If anyone's interested in checking it out, I have a new q2 server up running the Vanilla CTF mod. For the uninitiated, it's basically CTF on all the single-player Q2 maps along with runes and an off-hand grapple (laser). It's a fun old mod...my buddies and I used to play on the original Halquake server years ago and I thought I'd resurrect it.

Used to play this mod way back in like 99ish.  It was a lot of fun playing on maps where everyone had no idea where things were, or hardly knew how to get to the enemies flag and back to cap.  Back when everyone basically sucked and it was fun, before everyone got really good and you didn't have 10 people randomly running in different places out in the open, but everyone started camping .

Just curious, how did you get this mod running? As far as I knew, I was just about the only person around with a copy of the source code. I had tracked down the original author years ago, and he provided me with his last working snapshot of VanCTF, which I merged into the Quetoo tree. This was in like 2006 or 2007.
