Complaint About ex

Happens all the time and is part of the game, so I think you should deal with it. If anyone should be complaining about people not voting time, it would be slugs. I've seen it happen to him the most over the past 3 years on the jump server.

Also, it's easy to remember when it only happens to you. I clearly remember yourself cr33pz and your krew doing the same thing to me, when I was trying to time a map. I was very close but you all changed the map on me anyway. How convenient.

Normally it doesn't happen to me. If anything, Slugs uses it to grief, but it's slugs, so who cares lol. I'll usually vote more time on a map if other people are trying to complete it. Although yes, I do remember a lot of times where me and about two other people were trying to complete a map, and then one person in spec votes up a new map and has it passed just because their buddies were in spec with them; and then proceed not to play the next map and stay in spec.

So yeah, what's the "complaint" again?

I don't think "modified client" means much without context. It makes no sense to me why eumnx, who only plays jump mod for the most part, would be on there. I'm on there too for the same reason, which I have no clue. My guess would be some kind of error with AC, or that while lagging out during authentication. What I do know is that AC doesn't run flawlessly all the time. I do remember asking an admin a year or two ago, as to why I was getting kicked off of DFIL by AC, for one whole single day (it never happened ever again). I switched to stock q2 and it still kept booting me. For some reason it just didn't like my config that day, even though I didn't change it at all...

Who knows, I guess...

It's probably some faggot (bundle of sticks) like Razor or another cheater proxying through the actual IP block/ISP of the user.  This could be caused by a computer not properly protected against certain hacking attacks.  Also, it could be pure luck on the part of the hacker that this happened.

Of course, upon IP lookup, it appears it is in 2dum's location in California, so it is possible that it could in fact be 2dum himself.  But he's claimed it isn't him, so the benefit of doubt is given until sustainable proof has been ascertained.  :>

A modified cilent means you were using an edited client of a anticheat compatible client like R1Q2 or AprQ2. Things like a modified client are pretty general, because any changes to a client will show up in acstats. Changes could range from something harmless like a modified version string or an edited cmd to something malicious like a wallhack coded in.

That being said, I don't think god2dum is smart enough to code a wallhack into his client, so it was either something harmless and easy to code, or he got his client from someone else. ;>
