This is actually the most profound thing I have seen you write yet.

I imagine that in actual life you are an awesome wit and actually fun to hang around with.

I have found that when I hang out with someone for a while, we are able to develop humor that is multi-layer and multi-reference.  The most hysterical things are usually an amalgam of smaller elements that don't seem to fit until one realizes how they relate and then (BAM!) the synergy knocks you on your ass laughing.
